We are proud to offer Single Stream Recycling, the forefront of available recycling. No more need to sort!  You can now combine almost all your recyclable items into one bin.  Please follow the following guidelines on how to recycle and what materials are/are not accepted.

Recycling is available to all commercial customers and some residential customers.  Call to see if we can pick up recycling for you, we are always looking to expand our recycling availability.
When in Doubt, Keep it Out!

Accepted Materials:
  • Plastic Containers
    • bottles, tubs, and jugs only.
  • Cans
    • steel, tin, and aluminum.
  • Paper
    • no metal or plastic bindings.
  • Cardboard and Cartons
    • please flatten boxes.
  • Shredded Paper
    • please bag separately in clear bag and knotted shut.
*Recycling must be clean and free of food, liquid, or other contaminants.
Non-Accepted Materials:
  • Plastic Bags  - all recycling materials need to be loose in your container (no bags)
  • Glass
    • As of June 1st, 2018, we are no longer able to accept glass in our single stream recycling due to new recycling practices and high cost of glass recycling.  
  • Metal and Rubber
    • tires, hoses, hangers, cutlery, pots and pans 
  • Toys and Clothes
    • gently used items may be donates, but are not recyclable.
  • Wood and Organics
    • diapers, food, pet and yard waste. 
  • Styrofoam and "To-Go" items
    • all foam, plastic and paper to-go containers, straws, napkins, candy and chip wrappers.
  • Dish, Baking, and Other Glass
    • ceramics, porcelain, pottery, pyrex, mirror, windows.
  • Hazardous Materials
    • Check with the city landfill for proper hazardous waste disposal. DO NOT THROW IN TRASH
  • Needles and Pills
    • Check with the city landfill for proper medical waste disposal programs. DO NOT THROW IN TRASH
  • Electronics and Bulbs
    • Check with your city landfill for electronics recycling options. DO NOT THROW IN TRASH
